Mai Zam Zam Donates Books to Kwara Polytechnic

In its bid to support the government of Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq efforts at repositioning education sector in the state, the Chief Executive Officer, Mai Zam Zam Bookshop, Kano, Engr. Muhammad Garba has donated books worth millions of naira to Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.


Speaking after receiving the books from the representative of the donor, the Rector of the premier tertiary institution, Engr. Jimoh Muhammed Abdul, lauded the initiative of the donor, adding that the gesture will contribute immensely to the development of the institution.

He said the books which cut across courses from various departments such as Nutrition and Dietetics, Library Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics among others will assist both staff and students of the Polytechnic in research and other academic activities.


Abdul therefore, implored other philanthropists who are sons of the soil, just like the donor to emulate the kind gesture.
