Elelu, Executive Secretary of Kwara Primary Health Care, Celebrates Hijrah 1444AH With the Muslim Faithful

Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWPHCDA) Executive Secretary. Dr. Nusirat Elelu congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of new year islamic calendar.

Elelu praised the efforts of the royal father, the Emir of Ilorin. Alhaji (Dr). Ibrahim Sulu Gambari (CFR) for his alacrity in maintaining peace and harmony in the state. She applauded the state government, led by Governor. AbdulRahmon AbdulRazaq, in sustaining the state in the face of numerous challenges, especially for his supportive role in the health sector.

She urged Muslims to learn the lesson of sacrifice that Hijrah represents.

"The period of new year islamic calendar celebration is a time to embrace the virtues of love, peace, unity, kindness, and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW)," she says.

Elelu urged governments at all levels to focus more on their primary responsibility of protecting lives and property.

Adding that "the primary responsibility of any government is to protect the lives and property under its care." To say that many families are in mourning and gnashing their teeth at this time would be an understatement."

She urged Nigerians, however, not to stop praying for the country, noting that Allah's will would prevail.

Elelu expressed optimism that Nigeria will overcome its challenges with divine intervention and the continued support of Nigerians for the government.

She warned the Kwarans to be aware of any disease's preventive measures in order to prevent the disease from spreading further.
