Attention of the Polytechnic Authority has been drawn to a  malicious video which has gone viral on facebook that the Governor, His Excellency, Mall. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq visited the Polytechnic and was being disgraced out of the institution.


The Management wishes to state categorically that neither the Governor nor any of his aids was in the Polytechnic. Thus, the video which was tagged with the Polytechnic name is the hand work of the enemies of the institution that want to soil its good image and drag it in the mud.

Please note that the Polytechnic students who  are presently on holiday are law abiding and good citizens of state who cannot be used as political thugs by politicians.

Therefore, the Polytechnic Management wishes to call on members of the public to always verify the authenticity of anything tag with the Polytechnic name before  circulating.

 As we are charging up for 2023 elections in Kwara State, there should be equity and justice in sharing of position in Kwara politics. This is beyond party interest. Kwara Central has enjoyed Governorship position for more than eight years. Likewise, Kwara South senatorial district had the same opportunity for 8years in the state. By God's grace and will, the position of Kwara State governor will go to Kwara North senatorial district in 2023. The district had waited for 30 years, so this opportunity is well deserved.
