NO EXAMS FOR STUDENTS WITHOUT 75% ATTENDANCE___Jimoh Abdul

The Rector of Kwara state polytechnic, Ilorin, Engr. Dr Abdul Jimoh Mohammed has affirmed that the polytechnic will not permit any student that is unable to meet the 75% class attendance requirement to sit for examinations when the time comes. Abdul made this known in his speech at the polytechnic's first Open Distance Flexible Electronic Learning (ODFeL) students' matriculation day held at the Rear Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal auditorium, Kwara state polytechnic, Ilorin, recently. He emphasised that the polytechnic has made every provision for the convenience of student's stay in the polytechnic by providing more lecture rooms, furniture, 24 hours internet connectivity, solar-powered boreholes in some of the hostels and solar-powered lights from various hostels to designated classrooms which are targeted at encouraging night classes as well as expel all forms of atrocities that are usually carried out at late hours.
