DR. NUSIRAT ELELU: AN IDEAL HONCHO

An ideal leader is the most unfortunate person on earth because she feels the pains of her people, bears their sorrowful stories and their sicknesses, she finds solutions to their problems, and respects her subjects' feelings.

Being a prestigious leader beyond a child's play or a position to be toyed with, it requires a lot of sacrifices, and only a strong and courageous individual can take the bull by it horns.

All these characteristics can be attributed to Dr. Nusirat Elelu, a woman with unfathomable love and passion towards her subjects, she is a mother figure in society and her dealings are targeted at motivating, inspiring, and accommodating her subjects, irrespective of their color, sex, origin, height, and status, in order for them to achieve a unified goal.

Dr. Nusirat Elelu, one of the those priceless seeds planted in Africa to benefit humans, particularly the plebs in society Dr. Nusirat Elelu, as a selfless individual, works with a sincere heart and has a specific goal in mind with all of her actions. Being a woman does not prevent her from doing things that women in society are not capable of doing.

Her tremendous impact during the COVID-19, as a passionate personality, has saved the lives of many individuals in the State.

Through various skill acquisitions, she has empowered over 200 people in the Ilorin metropolis.

Gender has never diminished her capacity, abilities, or social functions. Recently, the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency gave Kwara a perfect score for its polio campaign, and all of the state's LGAs passed the Lot Quality Assurance Survey, earning the state a letter of commendation.

Dr. Nursirat Elelu has demonstrated and continues to demonstrate excellence in the way she conducts her work. Commitment is one thing, but sincerity of purpose is something else entirely. Her dedication and commitment to women's wellness and health, in particular, has clearly demonstrated that she is leaving no stone unturned in the revitalization of our Primary Health Care system, especially in this trying time of health care deficit. Kwara is currently one of the few states in the country that has operationalized the Basic HealthCare Provision Fund (BHCPF) for one functional PHC in each of the wards. So far, 158 PHCs have been revitalized under the BHCPF to ensure that quality services are available to the grassroots population.

Dr. Nusirat Elelu mentor several young female students interested in medical fields and serves as Academic Adviser to students of the One Health Initiative, Africa's first of its kind.

Leadership is not determined by age, wealth, or personality. Dr. Nusirat Elelu exemplifies wisdom, sense of responsibility, and perseverance in carrying out her duties distinctively and with foresight in the health system of Kwara State and Nigeria at large.

She is, indeed, a distinguished leader in all aspects.

Like a mother hen, Dr. Nusirat is more concerned with the state of being of the people in the community, one of her projects which projected her good intentions to the community, is the health sector, she made sure that all equipment are in good shape and working condition as well to ensure that Kwarans get the best possible health care services in the State, this is how her leadership skills were made known, she protect her subject and continues to provide them good health equipment and service.

Speaking of a compassionate women in the society, her voluminous contributions to development of human capital and community through the means of providing capital for the widows and youths to start up a business and eradicate poverty in the society. She is more closer to the grassroot individuals and she took their burden upon herself.

Having a selfless and kindhearted leader in the state has enhanced tremendous and radical change in the state because, Dr. Nusirat never ignores the cry and opinions of the people in her colony.

Being a woman has illustrated that women can pilot the affairs of the country without mistakes. undoubtedly, she's one of the motivations in this century.
